Costumes and Masks

Traditionally, Mardi Gras is a masquerade event. For extra fun, show up in a mask and/or costume and you will be entered into a special drawing exclusively for those who dress for the occasion.

Last year we were given a Roku2 from Twincorner Art + Design just for this drawing.  This went over well and we’ll have to see what is given away this year.

What is that exactly?  The Roku makes it possible for you to watch Internet tv and movie sites on your television.  All you do is plug it into your tv and connect to your home Internet connection with a wire or wi-fi connection.  Pretty cool!

Remember, this is not a costume contest.  All you have to do is come to Mardi Gras wearing your Mardi Gras mask and/or costume and you will be automatically entered into the drawing.  If you don’t have a mask, don’t worry, you can purchase one at the event.

Hi there,I came across your site and rlelay like this Mardi Gras mask picture:I run a small events space in Brooklyn, NY that’s having a Mardi Gras party and I was wondering if I could use the picture in our flyer. All the proceeds from the party go toward paying rent and bills for the space and also toward our efforts to become a not-for-profit organization.

    • Hey, that image is just a pick of the mask I use at the event. If you would like to use it feel free to use it on your flyer. If you think it would help I’m happy to send you the original photo.

      Good luck,
